Teijin Aramid, with its head office in Arnhem, is a subsidiary of the Teijin Group and part of the Teijin Aramid Fibers Business Group (AFBG). Teijin Aramid is a global leader in aramid and responsible for around 50% of the global aramid production. Wherever strength, durability, safety, heat or flame resistance or low weight is required, you will find our Twaron®, Sulfron®, Teijinconex® or Technora®. Our four high performance aramids are produced at our plants in the Netherlands and Japan. Twaron and Sulfron are produced in the Netherlands and Teijinconex and Teijin Techno Products in Japan. These products are part of Teijin Aramid’s product portfolio outside Japan. In October 2011, a new product was added: Endumax, the polyethylene product of Teijin.
